Newton’s third law states that every action has an equal and opposite reaction.

If we assume gravitational attraction by earth on the Apple as action, then Apple's gravitational attraction on the earth will be reaction.

As action and reaction have equal magnitude, therefore F1 and F2 will have same magnitude.

Hence the correct answer to this question is option D
