Village: Because of deforestation, in rural areas, the level of groundwater goes down which means access to potable water becomes difficult. Also, more chance of soil erosion is occurring because plant roots that hold the soil particles together have been removed also the fertility of the soil is decreased. Apart from this Villagers and tribals are one of the stakeholders of forests. They obtain fuel, fruits, wood, etc. from forests. Deforestation reduces these available resources and causes disturbances in natural habitats. This leads to freely moving uninhabited animals also puts a danger to the villager's life.
