In a reaction if the concentration of reactant A is tripled, the rate of reaction becomes twenty-seven times. What is the order of the reaction?

Answers (1)

\text {Rate}=[\text {A}]^{\alpha }

27*\text {Rate}=\text {k}[\text {3A}]^{\alpha }

Dividing both the equations we get \alpha =3

Therefore the order of reaction is 3
