Q13.2 Molar volume is the volume occupied by 1 mol of any (ideal) gas at standard temperature and pressure (STP: 1 atmospheric pressure, 0^{0}C). Show that it is  22.4 Litres.

As per the ideal gas equation

\\PV=nRT\\ V=\frac{nRT}{P}

For one mole of a gas at STP we have

\\V=\frac{1\times 8.314\times 273}{1.013\times 10^{5}}\\ V=0.0224 m^{3}\\ V=22.4\ litres
