The answer is the option (c) Desert

There is extremely little precipitation in a desert ecosystem. Evaporation rates are quite high because of the high temperatures, sunshine, and lack of vegetation cover. Every year, a grassland receives around 500 mm of rain. Mangrove forests receive between 1500 and 3000 mm of rainfall on average, whereas shrublands and woods receive roughly 1000 mm. The highest annual rainfall, sometimes reaching 6000 mm, occurs in rainforests. Hence, (c) is the correct option.
