Given : a_1 = a_2 = 2, a_n = a_{n - 1}-1, n > 2

a_3 = a_{3 - 1}-1=a_2-1=2-1=1

a_4 = a_{4 - 1}-1=a_3-1=1-1=0

a_5 = a_{5 - 1}-1=a_4-1=0-1=-1

Hence, five terms of series are 2,2,1,0,-1

Series =2+2+1+0+(-1)+..................
