Measures that would help our town to ensure the supply of clean water to all its residents are:

(i) Chlorination must be done in order to purify water, also chlorine tablets or bleaching powder to the water should be added in the appropriate amount.

(ii) We must check that if water which is going to be supplied is properly treated and has undergone all the measures. 

(iii) Cleaning the water tanks properly and removing layers of germs which get deposited in the walls of the tanks.

(iv) Proper maintenance of pipelines must be done to check the corrosion and leakages at regular interval. 

(v) Awareness programs highlighting the importance of clean water and diseases caused by contaminated water must be organised inorder to create awareness among people.
