(a) Covalent compounds do not conduct electricity because they do not have free electrons. current results from motion of electrons or ions . On dissolving it in water they do not form ions.So they are generally poor conductor of electricity.

(b) Cyclohexane is saturated cyclic hydrocarbon which has single bonds present in it.
