Differences between nervous and endocrine system are :
1. Nervous system sends electrical impulses whereas, the endocrine system sends hormones as chemical messengers that target cells through the bloodstream.
2. In the nervous system brain and spinal cord are involved whereas, the endocrine system involves glands like pituitary, adrenal or reproductive glands.
3. Electrical impulses are transmitted through nerves whereas, hormones are transmitted through the blood vessels.
4. The nervous system is under both voluntary and involuntary control whereas, the endocrine system is under involuntary control only.
5. Responses generated through the nervous system are localized whereas, responses generated through endocrine system are widespread.
