Draw a ray diagram to show the formation of real image of an object when refraction of light takes place through a convex lens. Formation of Real image:

According to Cartesian convection

U is towards left side hence negative(-Ve)

V and F is towards right side hence positive (+ve)

Relation between u,v and f

\frac{1}{v}=\frac{1}{f}+\frac{1}{u}
