IF I WERE A BIRD

If I were to be reborn as something else, I would want to be a bird. To be specific, I would like to be a Hyacinth Macaw which is a species of a macaw parrot. It is a pretty and long bird which can live upto fifty years. A hyacinth macaw has long wings. It is a bird having blue color dominating its body. These birds are vulnerable and fall in the endangered category. They are found in parts of South America.

As a hyacinth macaw, I would like to live as a free bird, uncaptured. I would like to explore the beauty of South America, countries like Brazil and  Argentina. I would eat tasty nuts like brazilian nuts and macadamia nuts. As a macaw, I will have a strong beak which can break even a coconut. It is a herbivore species so aside from nuts, I will eat fruits and vegetables. Even though macaws are a companion animal, I would like to live uncaptured by a human. Macaw travel in pairs so I would want a macaw partner with whom I would want to explore the world with.

Being a bird would be fascinating as I would have an organic bond with nature. My survival and death will be at its mercy. I would enjoy the world of nature the way I have always wanted to as a human. I would fly among the highest of trees and over the forests. I would communicate with the birds in their language.

Presently I live with the convenience of a human life, free of struggle and hardships. Humans race always seek their own pleasure as they capture exotic birds for themselves. Every human wants freedom. Animals and birds have rights to that too. I would like to live as a happy and free bird, one which is not bound in a cage for the pleasure of humans. I would fly the highest of the peaks and longest of the distances as a bird and rule the sky with my wings.
