SAVE WATER, SAVE LIVES 

 Water is one of the basic resources for human survival. Without water a human body can only survive for two days. Water is important for survival for all living organisms. It is needed for drinking, cooking, bathing, cleaning and other purposes. Water plays an important role in producing hydro energy. Serving such multipurposes, it is important to save water and use it smartly and efficiently. But over the last decades, humans have polluted the water immensely. Water pollution has been one of the main causes in global warming. Water pollution is the contamination of water bodies. This is caused by human activities such as disposal of non-recyclable materials and toxic materials in such water bodies. Due to improper treatment of waste produced by humans, it is disposed of into the ocean which is hazardous for the organisms living in the sea and rivers . It affects their livelihood and reproduction process and creates an imbalance in the ecosystem which eventually adds to global warming. It is an issue which needs to be urgently addressed. Human race needs to put their selfish preferences at halt at present. They need to work for the benefit of the environment by using recyclable materials, treating toxic materials properly and less waste should be produced. There should be laws against contamination of water bodies and people, companies and industries should be heavily fined if caught doing so. It is in our hands that we save water for a better tomorrow. It is the need of the hour. Save water, Save lives.
