For what values of k will the following pair of equations have infinitely many solutions? kx+3y-(k-3)=0 12x+10y-k=0

Answers (1)

 kx+3y-(k-3)=0 ....(i)

12x+10y-k=0.....(ii)

For infinity many solutions

k/12 = 3/10 = (k-3)/k

k = 36/10

But for this value of k second equality 3/10 = (k-3)/k is not satisfied. So it doesn't have infinity solutions for any value of k.
