An example of sustainable development- Solar Energy use.
Solar energy is a renewable source of energy that is used to meet current energy needs without harming the environment or depleting natural resources. The following are the reasons why solar energy is the best example of sustainable development-
- Renewable & Unlimited Resource: Unlike fossil fuels, sunlight is an inexhaustible source of energy.
- Decreases environmental pollution: Solar panels do not release harmful greenhouse gases like carbon dioxide (CO2) or sulfur dioxide (SO2), which cause global warming and acid rain.
- Require low maintenance: Once installed, solar panels require minimal maintenance and reduce electricity bills.
