Give physical example of unstable equilibrium ,neutral equilibrium and of stable equilibrium?

  1. A system is said to be in stable equilibrium if, when displaced from equilibrium, it experiences a net force in a direction opposite to the direction of the displacement. For example, a marble at the bottom of a bowl will experience a restoring force when displaced from its equilibrium position. This force moves it back toward the equilibrium position.
  2. A system is said to be in unstable equilibrium if, when displaced from equilibrium position even slightly, it will not come back to its original position. For example, a ball resting on top of a hill. Once displaced, it accelerates away from the crest. 
  3. If a body remains in its new position when disturbed from its previous position, it is said to be in a state of neutral equilibrium. For example, if the ball is rolled, its center of gravity is neither raised nor lowered. This means that its center of gravity    is at the same height as before
