Which type of noun is the word "homework"?

The homework is an uncountable noun (also called a Mass noun).

Reason- Uncountable nouns refer to things we cannot count individually. They do not take a plural form ( homeworks is incorrect), and homework refers to work assigned for practice/study, and it's treated as a single mass of work.
