The bacterial cell is a primitive cell. They are mostly prokaryotic cells that lack a nucleus (instead contain a dark hollow region called nucleoid ) and membrane-bound organelles like mitochondria and lysosomes. On the other hand, onion cell is a eukaryotic cell. It contains the well-defined nucleus and membrane-bound organelles like mitochondria, lysosomes and many more.
