The Britishers provided western education in India which introduced the Indians to ideas of democracy and nationalism. These democratic ideas led the youth of India to fight the war for independence of India later.These ideas changed the political thinking of Indians and brought about a national awakening. The western education opened to the newly educated Indians the floodgates of liberal European thought. Thus uplifting the economy of India through industrialisation and Globalisation. Educated class produced great doctors, engineers, scientists and austronauts. Western Education makes all aware about customs and duties the same as it makes aware about the rules and regulations as we find the rules in Indian constitution. People know how to preserve their rights and perform their duties well.
