The two friends Ram and Shyam are conversing. The dialogues follow-
Ram: Hey Shyam
Shyam: Hi. How are you?
Ram: I am good. Did you hear about Janak's basketball accident that happened yesterday?
Shyam: No. Is he ok?
Ram: Yes, he is. He has a twisted ankle, injured knee and couple of bruises on both legs and arms. He was jumping to score a shot and suddenly twisted his ankle on the landing. Thankfully, the ankle is not broken but sprained but he still has to wear a cast for 15 days.
Shyam: Didn't he get medical assistance in the school ?
Ram: No, his wounds were too severe so he was rushed to the nearest hospital. Our school has a nurse, not a full time doctor. A nurse can only do so much.
Shyam: We should write to the principal for some safety measures to be taken. There should a rubber mat or smooth ground of the basketball court because injury is bound to happen when you play but these things will minimise it.
Ram: Also, students should wear protective gears while playing to prevent such accidents.
Shyam: Even our medical room is inadequately equipped for first aid. That should be looked into too.
Ram: Come on. Let us write to the Principal
