\ f(x)=a(x-3)(x-alpha )\ \Rightarrow f(-1)+f(2)=0\ \Rightarrow a[(-1-3)(-1-alpha )+(2-3)(2-alpha )]=0\ \Rightarrow 5alpha +2=0\ \Rightarrow alpha =-2/5
