1) Most famous application of log is in calculation of intensity of earth quakes which generally measured in Richter scale

2) In Chemistry, we use Log for calculation of pH value. 

pH=-log [H^+]

3) We use Log in economics to represent graphs, as log used to minimize the  large value into small value.

 Ex:   log[10]=1

        log[100]=2

       log[1000000000]=9
