Communicable diseases are those diseases that can spread from one person to the other via various means. They are generally known as infectious diseases. For example, common cold, Tuberculosis, Pneumonia etc. On the other hand, non-communicable diseases are those diseases that do not spread from one person to the other. They are non-infectious and progress slow and steadily. They are also referred to as chronic diseases. For example, Hepatitis, Measles, cancer etc.
