Fission  means divion of cells into two or more cells. These divided cells regenerates themselves into separate entities and resembles  the original / parent cell.

1. Binary Fission - During asexual reproduction, when the parent cell divides into two or more cells, the mode of reproduction is called binary fission .This type of reproduction has been observed in organisms like the amoeba, bacteria, euglena, etc.

2. Multiple Fission - During multiple fission, organism divides itself into numerous daughter cells.Examples of multiple fission are sporozoans and algae.
