What is the difference between osmosis and endosmosis?

Osmosis is the net movement of solvent molecules from a region of high concentration to a region of lower concentration mediated by a selectively permeable membrane whereas, endosmosis is a type of osmosis in which fluid flows through a membrane towards a region of higher concentration.
