What is the theory and principle of archimedies law

Answers (1)

Archimedes' Principle states that “When a solid body is partially or completely immersed in a fluid, the fluid exerts an upward force on the body, whose magnitude is equal to the weight of the displaced fluid.”
The force exerted by a fluid on a solid body immersed partially or completely in it is called the force of buoyancy, buoyant force or simply buoyancy. This force is also called the upthrust.
