What is vegetative propagation ? State two advantages and two disadvantages of this method.

Vegitative propagation: It is any form of asexual reproduction occuring in plants in which a new plants grows from a parent plant.
Advantage :
(i) Plant can be grown easily by vegitative propagation.
(ii) It is a rapid econimical method.
Disadvantage :
(i) Very less variety can be produced.
(ii) It results in overcrowding and lack of nutrients.
