As we learnt in 

Number of Elements in Union A & B -

n (A ∪ B) = n (A) + n (B) – n (A ∩ B)

- wherein

Given A and B be any finite sets. then Number of Elements in union A & B is given by this formula.

 

 \\n\left ( C \right )=20 \%, n\left ( B \right )=50 \%, \\*\\*n\left ( C\cap B \right )=10 \%

Thus n\left ( C\cup B \right )=n\left ( C \right )+n\left ( B\right )-n\left (C\cap B \right )=20+50-10=60 \%
