\Rightarrow 2\cos x\left [ 4\left ( \frac{1}{2} -\sin ^{2}x\right )-1\right ]= 1
\Rightarrow 2\cos x\left [2-4\sin ^{2}x-1\right ]= 1
\Rightarrow 2\cos x\left [1-4\sin ^{2}x\right ]= 1
\Rightarrow 2\cos x\left [1-4+4\cos ^{2}x\right ]= 1
\Rightarrow 2\cos x\left [4\cos ^{2}x-3\right ]= 1
\Rightarrow 2\left ( 4\cos ^{3}x-3\cos x \right )= 1
\Rightarrow \cos 3x= \frac{1}{2}
\Rightarrow 3x= \frac{\pi }{3},\frac{5\pi }{3},\frac{7\pi }{3}
