As we have learned

Mechanical Energy -

 Mechanical energy is the sum of potential energy and kinetic energy. It is the energy associated with the motion and position of an object

- wherein

Two types :

kinetic and Potential energy

 Let h be height of plane h = 5 \sin 37 \degree = 3 m

As the block slides down the inclined plane , it loses gravitational potential energy amd gains KE as Total mechanical enegy is conserved

loss in P.E = Gain in K.E

 mg (loss in height )  = KE_f - KE_i

mgh = 1/2 mv^2 - 0

 v = \sqrt {2gh} = \sqrt{2 \times 9.8 \times 3 }

v = 7.67 m /s
