Firstly the man falls under the gravity 

 u^{2}=2gh=2\times 10\times 100 =2000

Now we need to use 

v^{2}=u^{2}-2as

2^{2}=2000-2\times 5\times h

h = 199.6 \: m

Total height = \left ( 100+199.6 \right )=299.6\: m
