Let the thickness of slab be t and distance of air bubble from one side is x

When viewed from side (1):  \mathrm{6=\frac{x}{1.5} \Rightarrow x=9 \mathrm{~cm}}

When viewed from side (2):  \mathrm{4=\frac{(t-x)}{1.5} \Rightarrow 4=\frac{(t-9)}{1.5} \Rightarrow t=15 \mathrm{~cm}}

Formulaused:\mathrm{\mathrm{D}_{\text {apparent }}=\frac{\mathrm{D}_{\text {actual }}}{\mu_{\text {rel }}}}.
