Photoelectrons are those electrons which are produced when an energetic photon of radiation strike a molecule and the analysis of the spectrum of energies.when photoelectron emitted from a non conductive sample a positive charge accumulates on the surface changing the kinetic energy of the photoelectrons as they leave.
