\alpha=\frac{40}{100}=0.4

Initial vapour density, D=46

d( vapour density at equilibrium) = ?

\begin{aligned} & \mathrm{\alpha=\frac{D-d}{(n-1) d}} \\ \\& \mathrm{0.4=\frac{46-d}{(2-1) d}} \end{aligned}
