Thallophytes are primitive plants, which do not have well differentiated body structure. Their is no naked embryo present in thallophyta. The sex organs are unicellular, and when multicellular every cell forms the gamete.

Bryophytes have well differentiated plant body with root like structures called rhizoids. The sex organs are multicellular and remain protected by a jacket of sterile cells.

Hence the correct option is D.
