Offset is a vegetative part of a plant, formed by mitosis. Meiotic divisions do not occur in somatic cells. Parthenogenesis is the formation of embryo from ovum or egg without fertilisation. Parthenocarpy is the fruit formed without fertilisation, (generally seedless)
