During acyclic photophosphorylation, the reaction center of PS II absorbs specific wavelengths of red light and releases energetic electrons.These electrons travel along the electron transport chain and eventually reach PS I. The voids created in PS II due to loss of electrons are filled by water separation (photolysis of water) releasing electrons, protons and oxygen. Hence, option 1 is correct.
