The Glottis is opening of the pharynx into the trachea and is always open during the process of respiration.

The Glottis is covered by a flap like structure called epiglottis which helps in preventing the food particles move into trachea during swallowing instead of food pipe.

Uvula is soft muscular structure preventing entry of food into nasal cavity during swallowing.

Hence option A is correct.
