Forebrain consists of cerebrum, Hypothalamus and thalamus. Cerebrum forms a major part of the brain. Cerebral cortex is a layer of  cells which covers Cerebral hemisphere. Cerebral cortex has a greyish appearance because of neuronal cell bodies. Cerebral hemisphere has 3 functional areas  i.e., motor area, sensory area and association area.

Option 2 is the correct answer.
