The lattice energy is almost the same in alkaline earth metal sulphates. The sulphate ion is itself very large that relatively small change in metallic ionic size from \mathrm{Be}^{2+} to \mathrm{Ba}^{2+} does not make any material difference. However, hydration energy decreases from \mathrm{Be}^{2+} to \mathrm{Ba}^{2+},

hence the solubility of sulphates decrease in this order. The solubility decreases with increase in ionic size.

The low solubility of lithium fluoride is due to the greater force of attraction between lithium ions and fluoride ions in the crystal lattice

In the give metal bicarbonates, the anion (bicarbonate ion) is the same. Hence the solubility will depend on the size of cation. The size of \mathrm{Na}^{+} ion is smaller than that of \mathrm{K}^{+} ion. Hence sodium bicarbonate has high lattice energy and lower solubility than potassium bicarbonate.
