At constant pressure \mathrm{W =\mathrm{P} \Delta \mathrm{V}=\mathrm{nR} \Delta \mathrm{T} \quad \text { (as } \mathrm{PV}=\mathrm{nRT} \text { ) } }

\mathrm{ \text { i.e. } \mathrm{W}=\mathrm{nR} \Delta \mathrm{T}=2 \times 2 \times(35-30)=20 \mathrm{cal} }

\mathrm{ \Delta \mathrm{U}=\mathrm{Q}_{\mathrm{p}}-\mathrm{W} }

\mathrm{ \text { so } \Delta \mathrm{U}=70-20=50 \mathrm{cal} . }
