We know that, 

\bar{V}^2=\frac{3 R T}{M} \Rightarrow V_{\text {rms }}=\sqrt{\frac{3 R T}{M}}

The root mean square of the molecules of a gas is directly proportional to the square root of the absolute temperature of the gas and inversely proportional to the square of the mass of molecules of the gas.

\text { so, } v_{\text {rms }} \propto \sqrt{T} \text { and } v_{\text {rms }} \propto\frac{1}{\sqrt{m}}

V=M^\frac{-1}{2} T^{1 / 2}
