We know that

\mathrm{\sin C=\frac{1}{m_{w}}}
\mathrm{m}_{\mathrm{w}}=\frac{1}{\sin C}=\frac{1}{\sin 48^{\circ} 42^{\prime}}

\text{Similarly} \: \mathrm{m}_{\mathrm{g}}=\frac{1}{\sin 36^{\circ} 47^{\prime}}
Now for glass and water media
\mathrm{\sin C=}  refractive index of water w.r.t. glass

\frac{\mathrm{m}_{\mathrm{w}}}{\mathrm{m}_{\mathrm{g}}}=\frac{1 / \sin 48^{\circ} 42^{\prime}}{\sin 36^{\circ} 47^{\prime}}=\frac{\sin 36^{\circ} 47^{\prime}}{\sin 48^{\circ} 42^{\prime}} \quad \text { or } \quad C=52^{\circ} 52^{\prime}
