Equivalent Thermal Conductivity in Parallel -

K_{eq}=\frac{K_{1}+K_{2}}{2}

- wherein

For two slabs of equal area.

 

 

K_{eq}=\frac{K_{1}+K_{2}}{2} = \frac{2K+6K}{2} = 4K
