According to Newton's formula  \mathrm{x y=f^2}
Note that  \mathrm{m=\frac{f}{f-u}=\frac{f-v}{f}}

 or  \mathrm{\frac{f}{x}=\frac{y}{x} \quad \Rightarrow \quad x y=f^2}.
