In the uncompetitive inhibition
The active site is exposed after inhibitor binding
The allosteric site is exposed after inhibitor binding
Both a and b
None of these
Uncompetitive Inhibition:
-
In uncompetitive inhibition, the binding of the substrate to the active site changes the conformation of the enzyme. This creates an allosteric site which was not present prior to the binding of the substrate. An inhibitor can bind to this site and cause inhibition.
