  • Entire leaf modified into tendril, e.g., Lathyrus aphaca (Wild pea).
  • Leaf tip modified into tendril, e.g., Gloriosa.
  • Petiole modified into tendril, e.g., Clematis.
  • Stipule modified into tendril, e.g., Smilax.
  • Midrib modified into tendril, e.g., Nepenthes.
