x 5=n \frac{\lambda D}{d}=\frac{5 \times 6.5 \times 10^{-7} \times 1}{10^{-3}}=32.5 \times 10^{-4} \mathrm{~m}

x 3=(2 n-1) \frac{\lambda}{2} \frac{D}{d}=\frac{5 \times 6.3 \times 10^{-7} \times 1}{2 \times 10^{-3}}=16.25 \times 10^{-4} \mathrm{~m}

\therefore x 5-x 3 \approx 1.63 \mathrm{~mm}.
