There are two layers of adrenaline glands are adrenal medulla and the adrenal cortex. The hormones secreted by the adrenal cortex are aldosterone and cortisol. The hormones secreted by the second layer adrenal medulla are adrenaline and noradrenaline.  

Hence, if there is an injury to the adrenal cortex production of adrenaline is unaffected. 

The right option is ‘adrenaline’.
