On boiling hard water calcium bicarbonate precipitates out as calcium carbonate but magnesium bicarbonate precipitate out as magnesium hydroxide because

Option: 1

The solubility of \mathrm{CaCO}_3  is more than \mathrm{MgCO}_3

Option: 2

The solubility of  \mathrm{MgCO}_3 is more than that of \mathrm{CaCO}_3

Option: 3

The solubility of \mathrm{Mg}(\mathrm{OH})_2  is less than \mathrm{Ca}(\mathrm{OH})_2

\mathrm{Ca}\left(\mathrm{HCO}_3\right)_2 \stackrel{\text { Heat to boil }}{\rightleftharpoons} \mathrm{CaCO}_3 \downarrow+\mathrm{CO}_2 \uparrow+\mathrm{H}_2 \mathrm{O}

\mathrm{Mg}\left(\mathrm{HCO}_3\right)_2 \stackrel{\text { Heat to boil }}{\rightleftharpoons} \mathrm{Mg}(\mathrm{OH})_2 \downarrow+2 \mathrm{CO}_2

The solubility of  \mathrm{MgCO}_3 is more than \mathrm{CaCO}_3  and solubility of  \mathrm{Mg}(\mathrm{OH})_2  is less than \mathrm{Ca}(\mathrm{OH})_2  as such \mathrm{Mg}(\mathrm{OH})_2 Equilibrium in this reaction is displaced forward by the removal of carbon dioxide and formation of ppt.
