  • In Aerobic respiration, Pyruvic acid further forms Acetyl Co A and this enters Krebs Cycle. This is the link reaction.
  • During link reaction Pyruvic acid is converted into Acetyl CoA with the help of Pyruvate dehydrogenase complex. For this conversion Pyruvate dehydrogenase requires magnesium, CoA, NAD+, TPP and lipoic acid.
